The purpose of any ad that you run should be to further advance the sales process. This is the only purpose of your ad. You shouldn't run it to be cute, fancy, funny, or "out of the box". Stick to the basics, and you will be good to go. Otherwise, your advertising dollars will fly out the window.
One thing that seems funny to me is that the ads that look cute and creative, are the same ads that wins the approval of the advertiser's friends and family. I'm not going to lie.... i've done this myself also. For your sake, run an ad that's designed to stimulate some sort of action.
If you can stick to the proven basics, you'll dramatically improve the chances of making your ad a success. Find an ad that is proven to work, still works, and emulate it.
This way you can spend less time figuring out what works and what doesn't, and jump straight to making more money in your business immediately. Give it a shot and watch your sales increase.
